Security Officer - Experience Required

As a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activity, assist with site procedures, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience OR prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing arriving and departing individuals, verifying permitted entry points, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by remaining visible throughout the location, assisting with directions and general questions, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
