Float Patient Services Specialist Location: Columbus, OH + Surrounding Counties (14-15 clinic locations) MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT For travel is included Pay: $18/hr Type: 5Month ContracttoHire Schedule: Must work 2 closing shifts weekly (until 7 PM) + full Fridays Start Date: 5/26/2026 Interview: 1 round virtual with Kristie & center staff Mileage: Paid for travel beyond homeoffice commute Role Overview The Float Patient Services Specialist supports a network of outpatient clinics by providing exceptional frontoffice service wherever coverage is needed. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments. Key Responsibilities * Patient checkin - greet patients warmly, verify demographics, collect copays * Patient registration - guide new patients through paperwork and answer questions * Insurance verification - verify benefits, authorizations, and coverage * Scheduling - manage appointments, cancellations, and followups * Phone support - answer calls, route messages, check voicemails * EMR documentation - update records in Therapy Source & Rehab Toolkit * Endofday tasks including charge review and patient communication Required Experience * 1+ year in medical front desk, healthcare support, or strong customer service * Strong inperson and phone communication * Ability to multitask in a busy, highvolume environment * Strong computer skills and accuracy with patient data * Reliable transportation - this role is not publictransit accessible * Must be comfortable floating 30-40 miles from Columbus as needed * Must be dependable with excellent attendance (major pain point for client) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
