This role is pivotal in developing and enforcing policies, operationalizing budget decisions, and contributing to strategic planning. Key responsibilities include co-chairing the management of Service Lines, collaborating with Department and Medical Directors to establish the Service Line as a regional center of excellence, and providing leadership to Department Directors in all aspects of departmental management. Additionally, this position oversees the implementation of hospital philosophy, establishes standards for clinical and management competency, and represents the areas of responsibility in strategic planning initiatives.
