This role will have regular interaction with the company's private equity sponsors, Board of Managers, and Audit Committee while supporting a multifaceted growth strategy across markets, geographies, product lines, and business models. The position provides full leadership responsibility for the global accounting organization, including general accounting, consolidations, project accounting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead global accounting operations, including general ledger, consolidations, project accounting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, statutory reporting, and intercompany accounting.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate U.S. GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
  • Own ASC 606 compliance and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition for large-scale capital projects.
  • Serve as the finance lead for SAP ECC 6.0 and support long-term ERP strategy initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage external audit activities and coordinate required audit deliverables and disclosures.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to support statutory reporting, compliance, and international accounting requirements.
  • Lead and develop global accounting teams across the U.S. and India.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies within the finance organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership across finance, legal, tax, operations, and commercial functions to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.


Qualifications



  • Extensive experience with U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and project-based revenue recognition.
  • Proven success managing global consolidations, external audits, and multi-entity international accounting environments.
  • Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Background in capital project, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-driven organizations with international operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience, global finance exposure, and ERP transformation experience are preferred.
