Overview
Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Saturday, 8:00 - 11:30 am Adjunct instructor of biology courses and labs. Ensures a quality learning environment for all students, and plans, organizes, implements, and assesses academic experiences as assigned within the vision, mission, values, and learning domains of the College. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: Master's Degree: Biology (Required), Work Experience: Responsibilities Teaching and Assessment Provide instruction to students as delineated by course curriculum. Evaluate student performance in accordance with the course requirements and provide appropriate feedback to students in a timely manner. Respond to and evaluate student learning by appropriate means. Grade papers, tests, projects and other assignments in a timely manner and gives appropriate feedback to students. Submit grades to the Registrar at midterm and at the completion of the course. Participate in the annual College adjunct self-reflection and evaluation process. Is knowledgeable of college compliance requirements. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of leaders. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $25per hour - $41.75per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
