Join the Department of Human Services (DHS) as a Human Services Analyst Supervisor and take a leading role in strengthening behavioral health Medicaid services for people across Pennsylvania. This position oversees the Medicaid Development Section, which manages major federal waivers, the Medicaid State Plan, and broad policy initiatives that shape care for millions of residents. You will help drive progress in areas such as substance use disorder treatment, program accountability, and statewide policy improvement. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position leads the Medicaid Development Section, which manages federal Medicaid waivers, oversees the Medicaid State Plan, and supports major behavioral health policy initiatives. As a Human Services Analyst Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Waiver Management: Oversees federal Medicaid waivers, PA 67/1915(b) HealthChoices Managed Care Waivers, and PA 1115 Substance Use Disorder Waivers
- Policy Leadership: Guide the development, review, and revision of behavioral health Medicaid policies, bulletins, memoranda, and regulatory materials
- Program Oversight: Evaluate programs to determine impacts on behavioral health services, lead required program adjustments, and support program operations
- Staff Supervision: Direct employee work assignments, set expectations, provide performance feedback, and support staff development
- Regulatory Guidance: Provide direction to behavioral health managed care organizations and ensure statewide program compliance
- Contract Coordination: Participate in cross bureau committees responsible for establishing Behavioral Health HealthChoices contract language

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week, at the 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101 address, listed on this posting. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Human Services Analyst (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
