Department 10095 CCBD Psych SocialPay Range $17.95 - $25.94 Shift- PRNWho We Are: The Cancer and Blood Disorders Center (CCBD) is recognized as one of the best pediatric cancer centers and provides expert care for children with cancer, blood and immune-related disorders. CCBD offers a comprehensive psychosocial support system for children with cancer and other blood disorders, integrating clinical social work, psychology, and specialized child life services to address emotional, behavioral, and family needs. About the Role: Under supervision, the Art Therapist Intern will provide art therapy services to out-patients and their family members receiving care from the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Will foster positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community representatives and visitors. Will effectively use interpersonal communication skills to promote a safe and healing environment. What You Bring: Minimum Education: Completion of at least one year of a master's program in art therapy. (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred) Minimum Experience Experience providing art therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults and adults. Experience working with patients facing life threatening or complex illnesses and/or their family members. (Preferred) Functional Accountabilities
