This role is critical in reducing downtime, supporting production flow, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and keeping production running smoothly, this is the role for you. 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Eastlake Facility What You'll Do Respond quickly to tooling and production issues to minimize downtime Assist with die setups, changeovers, and production readiness Clean, inspect, and prepare tooling during production stoppages Identify and document tooling needing repair or maintenance Communicate issues with supervisors, leads, and engineering teams Support operators with proper tooling care and maintenance Inspect parts for quality and ensure compliance standards are met Maintain 6S organization and safety standards Track tooling activity using Gage Track system Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble dies What Makes You Successful Here Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Sense of urgency and awareness of production downtime Attention to detail in inspection and documentation Reliability and strong attendance Ability to work well with operators, engineers, and supervisors Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred Basic understanding of injection press operations (wax injection a plus) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle tooling/materials safely Standing for long periods throughout shift Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to stay focused in a physically active environment Why This Role Matters This position plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly.
