Job Description

Tooling Technician (2nd Shift) Join a High-Performance Manufacturing Team

We are looking for a Tooling Technician to support injection operations by ensuring tooling is clean, functional, and production-ready. This role is critical in reducing downtime, supporting production flow, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Eastlake Facility

What You'll Do
  • Respond quickly to tooling and production issues to minimize downtime
  • Assist with die setups, changeovers, and production readiness
  • Clean, inspect, and prepare tooling during production stoppages
  • Identify and document tooling needing repair or maintenance
  • Communicate issues with supervisors, leads, and engineering teams
  • Support operators with proper tooling care and maintenance
  • Inspect parts for quality and ensure compliance standards are met
  • Maintain 6S organization and safety standards
  • Track tooling activity using Gage Track system
  • Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble dies

  • Standing for long periods throughout shift
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to stay focused in a physically active environment
