SUMMARY

The Operations Site Director provides strategic vision and comprehensive operational leadership for the assigned physical distribution. This role is responsible for the end-to-end oversight of order processing, transportation scheduling, and shipping coordination to ensure seamless production attainment and the highest level of customer satisfaction.

As a key leader, you will foster a culture of agility, safety excellence, and high performance. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma), leverage digital tools to optimize the supply chain, and ensure the site meets all productivity, quality, and environmental sustainability goals in line with the "L'Oreal for the Future" commitments.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

* Operational Excellence: Direct all site activities to ensure order processing schedules are met and transportation/shipping coordination exceeds customer service level agreements (SLAs).

* Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-range production plans and site strategies, reviewing them regularly with operating units to ensure proper prioritization and short-term execution.

* Continuous Improvement: Lead a culture of "Safety First, Quality Always." Evaluate existing workflows to implement Lean methodologies that maximize productivity, accuracy, and material flow.

* Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and site productivity metrics. Utilize data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-per-unit.

* Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage the annual operating budget and 3-year capital expenditure (CAPEX) plan. Regularly report financial results and variances to senior management.

* Inventory & Systems Management: Ensure total inventory integrity and accuracy. Oversee the optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated technologies to improve tracking and material flow.

* People Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a multi-level management team (exempt and non-exempt). Focus on talent pipelining, succession planning, and building a diverse, inclusive workforce.

* Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Manage local relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating pricing and services while participating in national cost-containment programs.

* Information Flow: Serve as the primary operational liaison for Sales and Brand divisions regarding new product launches, seasonal promotions, and business growth strategies.

* Change Management: Lead the site through system upgrades, brand integrations, and organizational changes without compromising safety or service quality.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Education: BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

* Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

* Leadership: Proven ability to build, influence, and lead high-performing teams. Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to manage through conflict and change.

* Technical Expertise: Strong systems orientation; advanced experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Manhattan experience preferred.

* Continuous Improvement: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is highly desirable.

* Analytical Skills: Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable financial and operational insights.

* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels, from hourly associates to executive leadership.

* Agility: Ability to work across functions and divisions to execute key corporate initiatives.

* Mobility: Ability to travel for site visits and meetings; open to future relocation for career advancement within the group.
