You will also contribute to the development of the practice by building client relationships, mentoring professionals, supporting business development efforts, and participating in market-facing initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage complex business valuation and litigation support engagements, including valuations of businesses, securities, ownership interests, and intangible assets

  • Develop engagement scope, work plans, analytical approaches, and project timelines in collaboration with Senior Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, and other senior professionals

  • Participate in client meetings, attorney conferences, deposition preparation, mediation or arbitration preparation, and other litigation-related activities as appropriate

  • Evaluate company, industry, economic, and market information and assess its relevance to valuation analyses and conclusions

  • Manage engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and other project requirements

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining consistent technical and professional standards

  • Supervise and develop junior professionals through coaching, technical guidance, work review, and performance feedback

  • Build relationships with attorneys, corporate clients, referral sources, and other professional contacts

  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client outreach, presentations, and networking

  • Contribute to recruiting, training, thought leadership, and other initiatives that support the continued development of the group

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in business valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting, economic damages, or a related advisory field, including experience with dispute-related matters

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in deadline-driven environments

  • Professional presence and the ability to build productive client and referral relationships

  • Experience with forensic accounting, economic damages, fraud analysis, financial investigations, or expert witness support is a plus

  • Professional credentials such as CPA, CFA, ASA, ABV, CVA, CFF, or CFE are preferred

How You'll Thrive:

  • Balance technical rigor with practical and responsive client service

  • Support the growth of the practice through relationship development, business development activities, and market-facing initiatives

  • Work effectively across teams and disciplines to address complex client matters

Work Environment:

This role operates in a hybrid to remote work environment, depending on team, engagement, and client needs.

The biggest level shifts are the move from leading the overall engagement strategy to managing execution, from being the primary senior client advisor to a day-to-day client contact, and from originating business to supporting and participating in business development. I also moved the experience threshold from 8+ to 6+ years and softened the expectation around defending expert work products, which helps create clearer separation from the Senior Vice President role.
