We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to join our team in Buckeye, AZ.

Position will start and train on the 1st shift, then move to the 3rd shift schedule after training is complete.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

3rd Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 9 pm - 5:30 AM

Plus overtime as needed, including some weekend.

The Maintenance Technician II supports production operations by performing preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs production equipment, and performs repairs and maintenance of facility.

Essential Duties:

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment - overhead cranes, roll formers, press brakes and resistance welders.

• Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment.

• Comply with applicable regulations and the department's Safety program

• Perform general building repairs and maintenance

• Perform general trailer and vehicle maintenance on yard equipment- forklifts, yard trucks, and shop vehicles.

• Adhere to safety protocols.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

$30.00/hour+$3.00 Shift Differential

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school preferred.

• At least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• At least 1 year of experience in welding and fabricating preferred.

• Knowledge of overhead cranes, bearings, hydraulics, and drives

• Must have low voltage electrical knowledge.

• Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing various types of production machinery in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic PLC knowledge/experience.

• Basic automotive/trailer maintenance knowledge.

• Must have basic knowledge of lockout tag out and proper PPE.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.

• Standing for most of the shift, walking, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

• Constantly thinking and processing information.

• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.

• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.

• Use of personal protection equipment is required.
