This is an onsite position with a client of ours located in Lake Zurich, IL. Job Description Responds to inquires received via e-mail and by telephone from established accounts and sales force relating to product and availability, shipping and general company information, as well as processes and coordinates all documents relating to international ordering and shipments. Must understand the many facets of international business to assure the highest level of service to our customers. * Receive and process all international orders for products * Coordinate international shipments * Identify and prepare necessary export documents for delivery, cooperating with distribution department, and making sure of completion of a timely and successful delivery * Resolve customer inquiries and complete all customer quote requests * Set up and maintain customer database with accurate updates * Understand and interpret terms and conditions, special pricing agreements, and customer contracts * Recommend additional or alternative products or shipment solutions to meet customer needs Top Skills Details Customer service, order entry, email, ERP system, International Additional Skills & Qualifications Must Haves: * 1-2 years of customer service experience (Crosscultural communication, Experience with global customers or distributors. Multichannel support (phone, email, ticketing systems) * Order entry of international customers * ERP systems experience Nice Haves: - Microsoft Excel for tracking data and order entry - Professional Client Emailing Skills - BA or Associates Degree (highly preferred) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Zurich, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
