Position Overview We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive revenue growth for the Modern Healthcare brand. This role is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering integrated marketing solutions across digital, print, events, and custom content. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with experience in B2B media, healthcare, or complex solution sales, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities - Meet and exceed individual revenue targets across Modern Healthcare's portfolio (digital, print, events, and custom programs) - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing business - Develop strategic relationships with healthcare marketers, agencies, and key industry stakeholders - Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals and aligning them with Modern Healthcare solutions - Prospect and secure new accounts within healthcare sectors (health systems, pharma, tech, consulting, etc.) - Identify emerging categories and market opportunities - Create customized, multi-platform marketing proposals - Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated campaigns - Stay informed on healthcare industry trends and leverage insights for sales positioning - Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM Qualifications - 5-7+ years of experience in media sales, B2B sales, or healthcare-related sales - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals - Strong understanding of digital advertising, content marketing, and event sponsorships - Experience selling into healthcare or regulated industries is a plus - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders - Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly collaborative Preferred Experience - Background in healthcare media, marketing, or SaaS - Existing relationships within healthcare marketing or agency networks - Experience with consultative / solution-based selling approaches Why Join Modern Healthcare? Most employees perform work Monday through Friday, although early-morning, evening or weekend shifts may be required. Work schedule and travel requirements are subject to change as a role and needs evolve over time. Physical Demands Physical activities will include frequent in-person or virtual interactions. For most positions, it is essential to be able to remain at a desk/computer workstation for prolonged periods, perform computer-related tasks, and create/maintain documents within filing systems. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing reports and information, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, or extensive reading. The typical physical requirements are light work-exerting up to 25lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently and may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Some positions will have additional physical requirements, including exerting up to 50lbs of force to move and/or carry equipment, supplies, files, or other materials as the role requires.
