Lead software development projects through the phase gate process. Leads requirements gathering efforts of the software team to ensure that customer and divisional needs are met. Manages interactions between team & stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration. Writes code to address challenging aspects of the project. Writes the standard documentation used to translate project needs into software design specifications. Assists in creating overall architecture for various software systems. Corrects challenging defects found through QA software testing and systems testing. Supports field test personnel after development with issues not addressed by software engineers in lower levels. Often coaches and advises other engineers. May overseas external contractors and consultants. Assists in defining the process by which software is designed and developed. Activities ensure that software development projects progress properly, and result in quality software that meets customer and divisional expectations.

What you will do

  • Architects, designsand helps different team members to deliver digital solutions

  • Acts as a technical expert for an Azure cloud solution

  • Developsapplications using C#, .NET, JavaScript,and the Microsoft suite of technologies.

  • Participates in software development ondailybasis.Collaborateswith peer senior and junior developers in the team

  • Developswithin & leveragesintegration technologies, Azure IOT hub, service bus etc.

  • Translates technical requirements into application code and modules

  • Recognizessynergies & functionality across multiple technologies, andleveragesthem appropriately

  • Reviewsand analyzesbusiness requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates

  • Createstechnical documents for software products using Visio, PowerPoint,Wordand other MS Office applications.

  • Participatesinallthe Scrumceremonies: Sprint Planning andEstimation, Daily Stand-ups, SprintReviewsand SprintRetrospectives

  • Makesmodifications to existing applications and modulesin accordance withwritten user stories

  • Unit testsand worksclosely with the QA/Testing team

  • Troubleshootsand resolvesissues ina timelyfashion, communicating updates asdetermineduntil issue is resolved

  • Worksclosely withtheteam to helpidentifyroot cause and implementssolutions to reduce recurring defects and issues

  • Takespart in code reviewswith/of peercolleagues

  • Workswithother team memberstomaintaina standard release plan, including code check in processes & solution management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technicalfieldor equivalentwork experience

  • 8 years' experience working in an IT environment

  • 3 years' experience as a technical lead

  • 5 years' experience as a software developeror senior developer

  • 5 years' experience as a software developer using the following languages/frameworks:C#, .NET

  • 2 years' experience in Microsoft Azure.

  • 2 years' experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops

  • 5 years' experience using Microsoft Visual Studio

  • 2 years' experience usinga relational database (e.g.Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

  • 1 year experience usingAzureCosmosDBor a NoSQLdatabase

  • Demonstrated project experienceregardingestimates,planningand deliverables with a high degree of accountability

  • Proven ability working with business,engineeringand R&D teams to translate needs to Application Development teams

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in a multi-technology environment is a plus

  • Experience working in a methodical and structured manner

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Applications, AzureFunctionsand/or Azure Microservices

  • Experience developing mobilesolutions

  • Experience withSPA (Single Page Applications) usingAngularandclient-side JavaScript frameworks.

  • Experience withJasmine and Karma for Angular.

  • Experience withAzure Data Factory and/or Azure Data Bricks

  • Strong knowledge of a variety of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and an understanding as to when each of these approaches is most suitable

  • Excellent communication skills: presentation,written, and oral.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfullypartnershipwith software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates.

  • Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment,maintaina positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision

  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Prior experience working with global development teams

  • Experience in IoT environments

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

120500-180700 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
