Roles and Responsibilities: * Follows safety guidelines for the area and all company policies and procedures. * Completes oil sampling, following SOP. * Completes the work orders as assigned and complete daily tasks related to the repair order. * Remove broken parts and prep units for transportation. * Assist with completion of turn ratios, power factor test, and meg tests correctly as assigned. * Safely utilize industrial equipment, following capacity and load limits. * Follow all Environmental specifications for the area especially related to spill containment. Qualifications and Education Requirements: * HS Diploma/GED, required. * CDL, preferred. * Must be willing to travel 80% of the year. * HAZMAT 8 hour course, required. * OSHA 10/30, MSHA training preferred. * Self motivated - works independently, completes projects with minimal supervision. * Previous manufacturing/shop experience, preferred. * Prefer knowledge or related experience in prepping units for disposal following proper environmental disposal procedures. * Basic understanding of Ohms Law and theory of transformer operations. * Microsoft outlook experience, preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical trades preferred.
- NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
- Skilled in the use of industrial electrical test equipment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and drug-screen requirements.
- Physical capability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 lbs., operate tools, and use required PPE (arc-flash gear, fall protection, respirators, etc.).
- Eligibility to work in the US without need for employer sponsored VISA (work permit)
