Activity Therapist Diamond Grove Center has been providing psychiatric services to the surronding areas for more than 29 years. Located in Louisville, Mississippi our 85 bed-facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. Diamond Grove Center offers unique and individualized programming for children and adolescents, this sets us apart from many other treatment facilites, with our tenured leadership team and seasonal nursing department. Diamond Grove Center is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. Treatment objectives and intervention. Participates as a tem member in multi-disciplinary team conferences designed to develop and evaluate treatment plans for each patient. Coordinated an implements the Activity Therapy treatment plans, including teaching, to meet the patient's needs related to gaols of Activity Therapy, in a safe, effective manner. Coordinates services with other agencies for patients, especially for aftercare. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Coordinate and Plan Therapeutic Outings for the patients to attend. Attends in-service programs, conferences and Lectures within the hospital. Qualifications Requirements : 1. Bachelor's Degree Required. 2. 1-3 Years of Experience Preferred. 3. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Preferred. 4. Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. 5. CPR/CPI Preferred.
