What will you be doing? The role of the Operations Support Specialist is toassistthe District Service Quality Supervisorwithin a specific branch.The Operations Support Specialist willbe overseeingthe operation and the warehouse personnel within the facility.This involves processing freight on the floor as needed, and shipment entries into our ERP system. This position will also supervise the ITcomponentwhere customer enters shipping to ensure accuracy in shipment entries and working with brokers to ensure shipment moving intimelyfashion. This position willoperateon its own, as the Operations Manager is based in another branch and not locally present.Therefore, a problem-solving mindset isrequired, along withdemonstratedexperience in problem solving without constant supervision or guidance. Experience
2+ years operations experience Proficient in MS Office. Must be computer literate and able to process shipments into enterprise system Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Flexibility for occasional shift change during peak season Nice to Have 2+ years' experience supervising a team preferred Transportation or freightforwardingexperience a plus Education
