*Job Description* The Customer Service Representative provides specialized support across sales, promotions, and installation processes while handling customer claims and complaints in a fair, timely, and compliant manner. This role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships, accurately processing orders, and supporting sales activities, all within a fully remote environment based in the Central Time Zone. *Responsibilities* * Deliver high-quality customer service across sales, promotions, and installation-related inquiries. * Respond to and resolve customer claims and complaints in a fair, effective, and timely manner in alignment with consumer laws and company policies. * Maintain positive and professional customer relationships to support high levels of satisfaction and retention. * Support outside sales representatives by handling customer inquiries, order-related questions, and follow-up requests. * Answer inbound calls from a phone queue and provide accurate, courteous assistance (light to moderate call volume). * Perform accurate and timely order entry and order processing within an ERP system. * Manage and organize a shared email inbox, ensuring prompt responses and appropriate follow-up on customer requests. * Develop and support organization-wide initiatives that inform and educate customers about products, services, and processes. * Use customer survey feedback to help create and refine improvement plans that enhance the customer experience. * Validate and confirm order details, and when applicable, support checking and validating pricing information. * Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions clearly and accurately in the appropriate systems. * Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution. * Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and propose practical solutions. * Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and service quality. * Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats with customers and internal stakeholders. *Essential Skills* * At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or sales support environment with order entry responsibilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook for managing email communications. * Hands-on experience with order entry and processing orders in an ERP system. * Experience managing and prioritizing a shared email inbox. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to handle stress well and remain professional in challenging situations. * Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. * Solid interpersonal and customer support skills, with a focus on building positive relationships. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms. * Experience checking and validating pricing on customer orders or quotes. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for basic data tracking and reporting. * Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools. * call center support, account management, or customer support for sales-related activities. * Experience using CRM or service management tools such as ServiceMax (if applicable). * Familiarity with medical device or related industries is a plus. * Comfort working with multiple systems and tools, including Microsoft Office, ERP, and other customer support platforms. *Why Work Here?* You will join a company that invests in your well-being, financial security, and long-term growth. You will work from a home office setting, using standard office technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and communication tools for email and phone-based customer support. Call volume is not heavy, allowing for focused, high-quality interactions and careful order processing. New hires receive approximately three weeks of structured training to become familiar with systems, processes, and customer service standards. The work involves extended periods using a computer, phone, and headset, with a professional yet comfortable remote-work attire appropriate for virtual meetings and customer calls. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
