What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or customers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with post orders, helping to support security-related operations and the protection of property and assets.
• Maintain a visible presence while carrying out armed post duties, report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and assist with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A 40 caliber endorsement is required.
• A California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
