Security Officer - Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting access awareness throughout the location. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism during interactions with employees, members, visitors, and/or law enforcement.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identities and/or credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations, and support site personnel during opening, closing, and other security-related operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
