Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at designated points by verifying identification, processing visitors, maintaining logs, and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, following post orders and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Monitor assigned areas and security-related systems for irregular activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns at this government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas as directed, with duties and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA: DPSS/DHS requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
