As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Virginia Beach, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor activity, and support adherence to site policies for employees, guests, and delivery personnel.
• Support incident reporting, communication, and follow-up related to security-related matters, operational disruptions, and/or customer service needs across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
