Security Officer Roving Patrol

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in North Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy auto auction location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout vehicle storage areas, auction lanes, entry points, parking areas, buildings, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, verifying authorized entry when required, and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by maintaining visible presence, assisting with traffic flow during busy periods, and completing routine reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
