Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and support daily operations.
• Serve at an armed post in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal policies, maintaining professional composure and handling security-related responsibilities with sound judgment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and high-traffic sections of the location to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior while assisting with access and directional needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
