As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Afternoons in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate for a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted operational areas.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or policy concerns in required reports while following post orders and location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
