The Maintenance Technician supports the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of hospital facilities by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility services. This role ensures building systems, equipment, and infrastructure remain operational and meet regulatory and safety standards. The primary responsibility for this position is supporting the Hudson Hospital & Clinic site, including on-call coverage. Additionally, this role will provide support at other HealthPartners St. Croix Valley locations as operational needs arise. Essential Duties Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and life safety systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements Complete daily rounds, inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure reliable facility operations Respond to service requests and perform timely repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Document maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor repairs Perform electrical safety testing and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues Provide general maintenance services, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor repairs Support department projects, quality improvement initiatives, and performance improvement efforts Prepare parts and material requests and maintain accurate work order and time documentation Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Two-year technical training in building maintenance. One year experience in the operation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.
