Could you be the full-time onsite RAM Dept Head - AMERICAS Region in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your RAM expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll lead and inspire a team of 15 talented engineers across our Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Sao Paulo sites to integrate resilience into our decision-making processes and maximize RAM performance. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Projects and Programs Core teams, System, Hardware, Software, Verification & Validation, Cybersecurity, Safety, Tenders, Sourcing, Installation, Warranty & Maintenance teams), manage workload and workforce balance, and continuously improve RAM discipline in collaboration with the D&IS RAM Director and RAM Center of Excellence, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Managing RAM discipline across the D&IS AMERICAS (NAM + LAM) region and sites ,



  • Leading and overseeing the performance, workload, and workforce balance of the RAM team (skills, capacity, hiring process, etc.) ,



  • Continuously improving RAM discipline in collaboration with the D&IS RAM Director and RAM Center of Excellence ,



  • Committing to Quality, Cost, and Delivery for Tenders, Projects, and Programs activities ,



  • Acting as the AMERICAS RAM authority and fostering the growth of the RAM discipline within the D&IS NAM & LAM sites ,



  • Ensuring the correct application of Alstom's standard RAM Processes, Methods, and Tools while maintaining high-quality deliverables ,



  • Ensuring internal and external Customer satisfaction and RAM acceptance ,



  • Interfacing effectively with cross-functional teams, including Projects and Programs Core teams, Engineering discipline leaders, Cybersecurity, Safety, Tenders, Sourcing, Installation, Warranty, and Maintenance teams ,



  • Supporting the team when needed and contributing to the development of plans and solutions to meet delivery expectations",



  • Collaborating with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and the worldwide D&IS RAM community

  • Familiarity with customer satisfaction strategies and regulatory compliance in engineering projects. ,

  • Passion for continuous improvement and resilience in challenging environments. ,



  • Experience in effort estimation and planning solutions to deliver results. ,



  • Organizational skills to manage processes, methods, and tools effectively.
