As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, perform screening activities, and help support secure daily operations. This role includes maintaining a visible presence, observing for security-related concerns, and delivering strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, dock areas, entry points, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or prohibited items through attentive screening, access control support, and detailed documentation of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
