Cytek Biosciences is seeking a Summer 2026 Chemistry Intern to join our newly established Chemistry laboratory in Bellevue, Washington. The ideal candidate is a motivated undergraduate student or graduating in Spring 2026 with a background in Chemistry or Biochemistry and an interest in laboratory research and analytical techniques.

This internship provides hands-on experience in polymer dye synthesis, antibody conjugation, and analytical characterization while working closely with experienced scientists in a collaborative research environment. Cytek Biosciences develops advanced technologies and reagents that enable high-resolution cell analysis for research and life sciences applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in training on polymer dye synthesis and conjugation of dyes to antibodies.
  • Learn and operate analytical instruments including spectrophotometers, HPLC, FPLC, fluorometers, LC/MS, and NMR.
  • Prepare laboratory buffers and other chemical solutions according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized documentation of experimental procedures and results.
  • Follow laboratory safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and support laboratory activities as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's/Masters/PhD/ Post Doc program at an accredited US based university or college OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Must be able to complete an 8-10 consecutive week internship between June and August.
  • Must be able to work at the designated site for the duration of the internship.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Interest in laboratory research and analytical instrumentation.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to one hour at a time) while performing laboratory work.
  • Must be able to access laboratory materials and equipment that may require reaching, bending, or repositioning.
