DataBank's Legal Team delivers innovative, trusted, industry-leading legal services that provide a smooth and efficient contracting process for our customers and our internal stakeholders while advancing and protecting DataBank. DataBank is hiring a Contracts Analyst to join our Legal team to handle routine requests for legal support from DataBank's sales, finance and purchasing. This position can be located in Dallas or Denver or potentially remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate and revise master service agreements, service orders, host waivers, non-disclosure agreements and other customer contracting documents
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Sales, Product Management, Sales Operations, Billing, Finance and other teams to support processes for contracting and order processing
  • Respond to requests from Sales teams and others pm contract review requests, legal issues and concerns
  • Support other DataBank departments to locate applicable contracts and identify key terms
  • Draft contract terms for inclusion on service orders and master service agreements
  • Update internal contract libraries
  • Contribute to canned responses, FAQs and knowledge libraries to address common queries
  • Conduct various legal projects and other duties as assigned.
  • JD degree not required as this is not a practicing counsel role.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 2+ years hands on experience working with contracts in a company sales/legal department
  • Experience managing and/or drafting and negotiating simple contracts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and people skills
  • Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude
  • Desire to work in a high-energy, sales-oriented culture and the ability to adapt in a quickly changing business environment with a large volume of deals and expected quick turnaround times
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Acrobat and interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in and/or knowledge of colocation, telecommunications, Cloud industries a plus, especially in Cloud Computing
  • Experience with Epicor, Salesforce and other contract management systems a plus
