2ND SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY 2:30PM - 11PM

What this job involves:

The Crane Lead Maintenance Technician supervises shift operations for crane maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, quality workmanship, and effective team coordination. This leadership role combines hands-on technical expertise with team management responsibilities to deliver critical maintenance services while maintaining the highest safety and performance standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Conduct 10-minute safety " toolbox talks" at shift beginning to discuss daily work safety requirements and emergency safety issues
* Review and prioritize work orders from the Crane Facilities Coordinator, ensuring production-impacting work receives first priority
* Verify material availability and properly distribute work orders to shift team members based on skill levels and personnel requirements
* Perform assigned maintenance work orders while supervising shift team performance and ensuring quality standards
* Serve as primary contact and spokesperson for shift communications with client and JLL personnel
* Complete and distribute daily shift turnover reports with accurate work order details, technician assignments, and completion status
* Ensure proper documentation in Corrigo system for completed work and coordinate corrections with Facility Coordinator within shift timeframes

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

* Advanced knowledge of crane systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and mechanical troubleshooting
* Experience with Corrigo CMMS for work order documentation and asset management
* Leadership and team supervision experience in maintenance or industrial environments
* Proficiency in safety management and regulatory compliance for heavy equipment operations
* Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
* Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling and execution * Knowledge of industrial maintenance tools, equipment, and safety protocols

Required Skills and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in crane operations, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred, or commensurate experience
* 5+ years' experience in crane maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or industrial maintenance
* 2+ years supervisory or lead technician experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
* Valid crane operator certification and maintenance credentials as required by local regulations
* Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination
* Ability to work in various weather conditions and industrial environments * Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
