Embedded Software Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: #72237 Pay Range: $80-96 ph (W2) Duration: 12 mos Seeking a qualified embedded real-time Software Engineer to work in the Grand Prairie, TX office. to develop, test, and integrate software. The software is being developed on multi-core multi-threading environment using C++ on CentOS Linux and Windows Operating Systems environment. The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing. The candidate must already have an active SECRET security clearance. Qualifications: 1) Active SECRET security clearance 2) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical 3) Engineering or related field 4) Real-time embedded software development 5) C++ (version 11 or higher) 6) Linux Operating Systems (CentOS, Rocky 8, or similar distribution) Desired Qualifications: 1) Multi-threading/multiprocessing development 2) GitLab CI/CD Pipelines 3) GoogleTest or similar Unit test tool 4) Knowledge of Publish / Subscribe communication protocol Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI is preferred Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) 5) C-Make 6) Cameo Modeler 7) Windows Operating System 8) Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
