Inside Sales/Estimating

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow up with customers on quotes, samples, experiments, etc. as needed.
• Fill out new tooling orders and all appropriate documentation.
• Assists in engineering issues.
• Assists in evaluation of samples and experiments.
• Complete new quotes and requotes and manage the sales database according.
• Enter RFQ's into sales database and work with engineering to determine the most cost-effective gating and set-up.
• Obtain quotes from tool shops and establish tooling parameters.
• Obtain quotes from 3rd party vendors as needed.
• Take new sales calls from customers and vendor
• Other duties are designated by Head Engineer or General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

On the job training will be provided

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a High school diploma.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
• MUST BE ABLE to read and work from engineering/blueprint drawings and use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. to accurately quote new jobs.
• Understands limits of investment casting process and advises customers accordingly.
• Able to work with General Manager, Production Manager, and Plant Foreman to promote a smooth transition from sample run to production runs.
• Able to communicate well with customers.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
