SALARY RANGE $30.32 - $44.20WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Waukesha County's Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a skilled Programs & Projects Analyst (may underfill as Financial Analyst) to provide financial, budgetary, and operational analysis for our Aging and Disability Resource Center.This position is responsible for overseeing the division's budget, monitoring expenditures and revenues, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions to ensure fiscal integrity. The Programs & Projects Analyst evaluates financial performance, develops forecasts, and prepares accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. We are seeking a candidate that can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights to support the fiscal health of the department while building strong working relationships with internal teams. Minimum Training & Experience Requirements for Financial Analyst 1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or a closely related field. -OR- High School Diploma or GED, and a combination of recognized post high school education and progressively responsible work experience, in finance, accounting, or closely related field, totaling four (4) years.
