Job Description




As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by conducting routine patrols, staying highly visible, and responding to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, with regular vehicle patrols and facility checks. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disruptive behavior, and medical campus emergencies, and/or coordinating with clinical staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe movement throughout the location, documenting observations, completing required reports, and communicating updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.
  • Support visitor management and customer service needs, including providing directions, assisting with wayfinding, and helping to maintain orderly conduct in public areas and/or waiting rooms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
