Security Guard-PT-(On Call)- Nights/Weekends/Holidays

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Security Guard, Part Time - On Call to support our government customer located in Arlington, Virginia. Contracted security guards shall be uniformed and unarmed.

Shift is typically every Saturday midnight to 8am plus on call as needed (likely holidays).

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unarmed Facility Security Enforcement position
• Walk the perimeter of the facility.
• Report irregular activities.
• Enforce security rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Required High School Diploma

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Two (2) years' experience in a similar role. (Previous experience as a night time security guard preferred but not required.)
• Must be able to work night shifts and/or weekends 24/7 as required (on call)
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• U. S. Citizen
• Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background Check.
