Location(s): Palo Alto, CA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Order Specialist to support purchasing operations and manage the full purchase order lifecycle. The role involves working closely with suppliers, quality teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement, accurate order processing, and compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have recent SAP purchasing module experience and a strong understanding of procurement processes and material lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and related procurement transactions using SAP.
  • Analyze material availability and manage the full PO lifecycle including order placement, shipment tracking, verification of content, pricing accuracy, and RMA handling.
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery aligned with demand.
  • Maintain and manage vendor relationships to support procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and utilize approved contract partners.
  • Manage part revisions and support implementation of related rework activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper document archiving in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives including reduction of excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) and quality teams as needed.
  • Participate in procurement process improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Support daily operational procurement activities and cross-functional communication with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Approximately 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
  • Recent experience working with the SAP Purchasing Module.
  • Strong understanding of the purchase order (PO) process and part lifecycle.
  • Experience managing vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Experience working with quality teams or SQEs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience working with shared drives and Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with occasional flexibility for early global meetings.
