Position Title: Production
Wage: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Shift: 2nd, 3rd Hours: 2:10pm-10:40pm; 2:55pm-11:25pm; 10:20pm-6:20am; 11:05pm-7:05am Help shape the world's renewable future by manufacturing wind turbine blades! As part of this production team in Fort Madison, IA, you'll work with precision tools, follow detailed instructions, and ensure every blade meets the highest quality standards. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive and carry out work assignments, both oral and written, and follow detailed work instructions. - Assemble products and accurately document the assembly process. - Interpret drawings, sketches, and related materials to determine tools, materials, and dimensions required with minimal supervision. - Set up, operate, and maintain various equipment used to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per customer specifications. - Perform visual inspections of equipment and tools required for each task. - Verify the dimensions and accuracy of materials used in the packing process. - Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. - Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures. Production Requirements: - Ability to reach, bend, grasp, and push on a frequent, repetitive basis. - Ability to work at production line speed while making coordinated hand and finger movements. - Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift. - High school diploma (HSD) or equivalent required. - Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment (including gantry cranes). - Must pass the QPS screening process. burlington@qpsemployment.com IND101 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
