Production Test Engineering Manager

Job Purpose

The Production Test Engineering Manager will support production operations in integrate and test high complexity products while providing leadership to production teams executing the process. Oversees the planning and development of production plans by assessing the required labor and equipment capacity in function of the required demand. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in integrating and testing products at minimum costs. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficientMinimumof the function.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage Integration and Test Operations including a team of Assembles, Test Operators, Test Techs, Debug Technical Resources and Test Engineers to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Participate on the strategies to execute required integration and test production plans
• Participate in customer meetings to assure timely production performance execution.
• Provide Guidance and Leadership among staff
• Analyze and solve technical problems of the products in his responsibility area
• Reveal root cause, implement and report necessary actions
• Correlate failure activity and drive root cause corrective action with production team.
• Analyze of assembly and test operational errors and implement necessary preventive actions.
• Works in test engineering to implement TPM strategies over test equipment
• Recollection and analysis of test yields towards defining strategies to improve
• Create repair plans, identify and follow up priorities
• Pursuit of continuous growing of efficiency
• Provide training for assemblers and test operators regarding our products developing their knowledge and skills
• Take part in introduction of customer changes (ECO) together with the Product Engineer
• Observe ESD regulations and safety instructions
• Observe company's policy, trends
• Drive Test efficiency and coverage to maintain quality product output and achieve targeted ship plans

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in electronics/engineering
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Management and Supervision experience required
• Computer knowledge/Skills
• Experience in managing functional test production workcell
• Experience in managing integration workcell

Salary Range (annual): $100,000 - $120,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
