Senior Consultant, Workforce Productivity

Primary Responsibilities:
Contributes to the execution of departmental vision and enterprise strategies by identifying, leading, and implementing clinical and operational improvement opportunities. This role leads the identification of key performance measures, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives, driving the design and implementation of optimized workflows that enhance workforce productivity and positively impact patient experience.
-Educates and provides technical expertise to system employees and leaders in identifying key performance indicators linked and aligned with organizational strategic goals and performance targets.
-Develops quality, service, and financial metrics to assess the overall success of improvement efforts.
-Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodology to evaluate processes and systems, generate alternatives, and make recommendations to reduce waste, increase utilization, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and produce improved financial outcomes.
-Facilitates delivery of basic, intermediate, and advanced quality and service training modules to management and staff.
-Conducts analyses to identify and eliminate or minimize points of risks through process redesign.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study

    • 3+ years in quality or performance improvement, change management

    • Excel proficiency

    • Data analytics experience

  • Preferred:

    • Master's Degree in related field of study

    • Experience in Healthcare operations



Schedule and Work Model:

  • Full-time Monday through Friday, standard business hours with some flexibility needed for meetings and observations.

  • Hybrid Work Model: Usually in office at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA three Wednesdays per month. Also on-site at the hospitals based on project needs.
