What You Will Do:
Coordinate and supervise employees in an operational unit Maintain production schedules and quality of work Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisitions, equipment, and supplies for department Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, performance assessments, work assignments, salaries, recognition/corrective actions, promotions, transfers, and terminations Review and compile operations records, such as scrap and maintenance costs May have responsibility to oversee other departments as necessary
Position Details:
Shift is generally M-F starting around 5:00 am and may be 8,10, or 12 hours. Additional hours and some weekend work may be required as business requires.
Minimum Qualifications:
Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Prior experience leading a team Intermediate knowledge of industrial safety Ability to execute strategies and initiatives Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and train Organization and time management skills Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
