This executive will serve as the Single Thread Owner for the design and roll-out of Network Planning and Execution Technology across the globe to power the FedEx Transportation network with advanced technology, focusing on Air network and End-End product routing.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Own the design and roll-out of the FedEx tech road-map to improve flexibility, cost, service and sustainability of the FedEx global transportation system, focusing on air networks and end-end network optimization and integration, for both Design, Planning and Execution
  • Defines the business requirements for the tech product developments (i.e. software development, platform and data infrastructure etc), owned by the FedEx Data & Tech team
  • Owns the development of Operations Research Models
  • Ensure seamless handoffs across functions (Air and Surface Network Planners and Engineers, Hub Engineering, Operations); conducts pilots and re-iterate with the relevant Planning & Engineering and Data & Tech teams to ingest learning and quickly improve
  • Work closely with all functions tied Network Planning & Execution Technology (Marketing, P&E, Finance, Operations) to eliminate siloes and manage the process horizontally, not departmentally. This includes critical alignment with Sort Tech and customer interfacing systems
  • Facilitates Sr. Executive prioritization process for competing resources, secure resources (Data & Tech, Planning & Engineering etc) across the enterprise, defines and owns timely delivery of the proposed
  • Define enterprise-level KPIs and track performance for the associated benefits of the rolled-out technology
  • Establish and/or refine standard enterprise processes, including partnering with Data & Technology and Digital teams to automate and simplify
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation efforts to build modern and simplified processes centered on planners, operators and customer experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully deploying and utilizing Operations Research models and systems to effectively improve business outcomes
  • Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives in global and matrixed environments
  • Experience leading large enterprise scale business process transformations: business process reengineering using technology to automate business processes, ideally working knowledge and experience in Agentic
  • Experience leading a global process design tied to enterprise transformation
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong business acumen across all functional disciplines with the ability to connect capability strategies to operational and financial outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; comfortable presenting to C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, and digitally savvy mindset with comfort leading digital and analytics transformations

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Master's degree or above in quantitative discipline

  • Minimum experience ten (10) years in related network planning and tech deployment experience (e.g. transportation network planning & engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Supply Chain Engineering), which includes five (5) years in management/leadership position.
