Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus and/or office location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces and exterior perimeters, including corridors, stairwells, lobbies, parking areas, and other designated zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Support access control activities such as monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing foot traffic, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, and/or access control platforms, and report irregular conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
