As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet customers and team members, communicate clearly with store leadership, and document observations and/or concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing security-related procedures, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance from site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor for security-related hazards such as blocked exits, suspicious packages, and unauthorized access, and report concerns through established channels.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate observations and/or incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
