Summary:
The Patient Transportation Supervisor provides oversight and supervision for the Patient Transportation/Guest Services unit in the absence of the Transport Manager. This position is responsible for providing first line supervision of inpatient and outpatient transport of patients to and from diagnostics units within the hospital. Duties include training, performance monitoring and initial disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities:
1. Departmental Policies - Handles purchasing/Inventory extension, special products ordered.
2. Monitors Transport Tracking and Guest Services
3. Performs miscellaneous department functions to include filing, typing and report generation.
4. Personnel - Manages Kronos, attendance tracking, corrective actions, etc.
5. Reports and gathers Information pertaining to patient transportation.
6. Trains end users and employees on Transport Tracking.

Education Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required
Professional Experience Requirements:
* One (1) year experience in a customer service role with extensive use of telephones, pagers, and office support software as well as experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Good organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills.
