We are 50 years strong in 21 offices across California, the Pacific Northwest, and the Southeastern United States. Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is actively seeking anOn-Call Remote Sensing Technician based in the western U.S. (California, Oregon, Washington) with 0-5 years' experience to support client-driven environmental consulting projects through the application of remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and field-based data collection techniques. Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of experience. This is a remote opportunity. Preference given to candidates in PST time zone and who are open and willing to travel for site visits, projects, and in-person team collaboration as needed. This is a project-based hire with ongoing opportunities, supporting externally facing client work. The opportunity for continued employment with ESA beyond initial project needs will be discussed and revisited at or near project milestones. Who You Are

This position does not support internal data science initiatives and is focused on client-driven environmental work What's Special About Our Technology Services Practice ESA's Technology Services practice brings together geospatial science, remote sensing, application development, and environmental expertise to support data-informed decision-making. Our team works closely with environmental scientists and planners to develop practical, science-based solutions that support planning, monitoring, restoration, and resource management.
