Position Overview
The Coating Department Supervisor is responsible for the daily leadership and oversight of all coating operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and compliance within a unionized manufacturing environment. This role supervises a team of 25-30 hourly employees, manages attendance and personnel movements, ensures accurate operational recordkeeping, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor must be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple demands, and skilled in team development and performance management. Close collaboration with Technical, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams is required to maintain efficient operations and achieve departmental goals.
