About the role

The CDL Driver II is responsible for operating a straightbody rolloff truck to transport nonhazardous materials between Reworld facilities and client sites. This is a local or regional driving position depending on route needs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport materials according to DOT regulations and scheduled appointments.
  • Operate rolloff equipment to load, secure, transport, and unload containers.
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck and equipment.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to the transport of materials and vehicle maintenance, including manifests, bills of lading, delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports.
  • Ensure vehicle placarding complies with DOT requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding instructions, delivery status, and potential delays.
  • Follow all safety procedures to protect employees, customers, and the public.
  • Read maps and follow written or verbal directions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travel requirements.
  • CDL Class A with tanker endorsement required.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Experience operating Rolloff equipment
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • This position may be regional or home daily depending on route assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
  • Tanker experience preferred not required
Shift Details
  • Monday through Friday.
  • Saturday work may be required based on operational needs.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to grip, reach, push, pull, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Visual and hearing acuity necessary for safe operation of a straightbody rolloff truck.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $47,400.00 - $63,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
