As a Security Officer -Retail Center Patrol Driver in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor flow. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver clear communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to occupants, tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and lighting concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete access control duties such as verifying authorization, observing entry and exit activity, and/or checking credentials for after-hours access in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or tenant or visitor concerns in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
