Security Officer - Bicycle Patrol

As a Security Officer - Bicycle Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial property location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to reports, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate key information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
